Position:
Con-Tech General Contractors Ltd. is seeking an experienced and motivated Project Manager to join our growing team. We are looking for a leader who thrives in a fast-paced construction environment and can successfully manage civil, industrial, infrastructure, and commercial projects from pre-construction through completion. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, field-oriented, safety-focused, and capable of building strong relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and project teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage construction projects from start-up to closeout.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets and forecasting.
- Coordinate field operations with Superintendents and site teams.
- Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and procurement activities.
- Review drawings, specifications, contracts and scope requirements.
- Monitor project productivity costs, and quality control.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and client expectations.
- Attend project meetings and provide progress reporting to management and stakeholders.
- Identify project risks and implement proactive solutions.
- Maintain accurate project documentation and reporting systems.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5+ years of Project Management experience in construction.
- Experience in civil, industrial, municipal, or commercial construction preferred.
- Strong understanding of construction methods, scheduling, and project controls.
- Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications and contracts.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Experience in Procore is an asset.
- Valid drivers license and ability to travel to project sites as required.
- PMP, Gold Seal, or construction-related certifications are considered an asset.
