While most of La-Z-Boy's locations are built to the same standard, Con-Tech was able to provide a cost effective solution for the superstructure that mimics their other locations nation wide. This 15,600 square foot retail building was designed using a pre-engineered metal building structure with open-webbed roof joists that look comparable to a traditional structural steel building that is typical in their new and existing locations. In addition to the modified structure design, Con-Tech was also responsible for foundation and exterior envelope design that met both local codes and La-Z-Boy's strict finish requirements.

The project also featured install of over 90 owner supplied fixtures and displays, over 50 recessed electrical floor plug locations, and coordination of deliveries from over 16 vendors for various different finishes and products that were required to maintain consistency across La-Z-Boy's multiple locations in North America.

Despite a tight timeline, the project was completed on time (and on budget) for their grand opening.

"I was very impressed with the project management and execution of the project that Con-Tech provided. The extra assistance in setting up internet and loading the store was greatly appreciated."
